He received his BS from Brigham Young University and his OD from Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Luekenga began his clinical work with the U.S. Navy, serving as an officer and treating F18 fighter pilots, their crew, and families. He received specialty training in treating ocular trauma, eye diseases, and laser eye surgery. His clinical interests include ocular diseases, family practice eye care, contact lenses, and dry eye treatment. Dr. Luekenga joined Heritage Valley Eye Care in 2005. He is a Key Advisor to PERC.
