A true rock icon, this English musician has left an indelible mark on the hard rock scene as the bassist and vocalist of Trapeze, and later brought his signature sound to Deep Purple's Mk. III and IV lineups. His funk-infused bass playing and soulful, wide-ranging vocals have captivated audiences for decades.
