In person interviews give you more time to build rapport with the guest before the interview, and there is usually less of a time limit if you want to record for longer. You have to be a fantastic host, to be able to ask the best questions and to be an active listener. Ask the questions that the guest won’t have been asked before to get original content. If your show will primarily be on YouTube then you can vary your theme and guests as the YouTube algorithm will put it in front of the right audience. If you are doing audio only then you need to be more careful and have some cohesion among your episodes and serve your audience. Niche is more important if you want to monestise, if you don’t need to straight away then you can be a much more varied.
