Welcome to today’s episode. We’re looking at the life of Jacob — a man whose story shows us how God can change anyone. Jacob’s Beginning – Born grasping Esau’s heel (Genesis 25:26). His name meant “supplanter,” and he lived up to it. Jacob’s Deception – He tricked Isaac and stole Esau’s blessing (Genesis 27). Sin brought fear and brokenness. Jacob’s Dream – At Bethel, he saw a ladder reaching to heaven (Genesis 28:12). God reminded him of His promises. Jacob’s Discipline – With Laban, Jacob was deceived himself and learned humility (Genesis 29). Jacob’s Decision – Wrestling with God, his name was changed to Israel (Genesis 32:28). God transformed his life. Jacob’s Destination – In old age, he called his life a pilgrimage (Genesis 47:9) and died blessing his children in faith (Hebrews 11:21).
