What a night! On this episode, Casey once again hosts alongside guest John Richardson of Pacers: Beyond the Buzzer as they discuss the drama-filled Fever loss to the Phoenix Mercury..
First, the guys discuss the horrendous officiating woes of rhe WNBA through the lens of Caitlin Clark and Coach Stephanie White's post-game rant. The topic shifts to consistency as they point out the extent to which the second half officiating felt different from the first.
However, this does not absolve the Fever of this loss as Casey and John detail the turnover and ball movement woes that ultimately led to a loss in a game that, officiating aside, the Fever should have won.
Finally, the guys take a field trip away from the Fever negativity as they discuss the Pacers' acquisition of Braden Smith, which took place DURING the Fever game (so we're allowed to talk about it).
An overall frustrating day but a fun episode full of catharsis!
