Reading the World | قراءة العالم is a bilingual podcast (English and Arabic) that explores world literature, culture, and higher education—as interconnected ways of understanding how meaning is produced, circulated, and contested across societies—through the practice of critical reading . At its core, the podcast asks a foundational question: What does it mean to read the world? Not only books or literary texts, but also narratives, institutions, media discourses, educational systems, and cultural assumptions that shape how knowledge is formed and whose voices are heard. Drawing on approaches from the humanities, each episode treats reading as a method of inquiry rather than a neutral skill.
