We are in the darkness of the womb right now, in the midwinter. What are we going to birth forth? This week we talk about where we’re from and where we’re currently taking root in these uncertain times. In seasons of upheaval it helps to remember who our safe spaces are, what weird stuff the soft animal of our body loves, and how we can integrate all we’ve been with who we are and what is ours to do right now. If, like us, you find yourself wandering through the wilderness of the current moment, here are some questions we hope help tether you back to you. Where am I from? (What places, spaces, and people made you, you. Celebrate them, grieve them, just be honest about your experiences.) What beliefs have I emerged from that need to be set aside? (What no longer aligns with truth? What old ways of doing things do you need to shed?) What is inviting you to more of you and more of grace, love and joy? (Is it nerding out about scripture or birds? Awesome, do it with all your heart and invite others into it too.We need people who are alive and in love.) Cool stuff we mention this episode (or meant to anyways): The Ezra Klein Show - Don’t Believe Him Charles Hartshorne - Omnipotence and other Theological Mistakes Thresholds by: John O’Donohue Shoutout to Rockwall and Fairgrove .
