Ian has remixed music for legends such as Roachford, System F, Bimbo Jones, Jon Fitz, Moonbeam and Jay Robinson and has been supported by DJs such as Roger Sanchez, Kissy Sell Out, Stonebridge, Armin Van Buuren et al. Here is his story…Ian Round is a music producer, remix artist, DJ and educator with over 20 years of experience. Starting his career at the age of 16 DJing at parties Ian soon progressed to DJing in clubs and bars across Birmingham and the Midlands. It started when Ian completed a course in ‘Creating Music Through Technology’ at Birmingham’s Academy of Music under the tutelage of Lee Fisher, a House Music and Ibiza DJ legend and Austen Kilburn a renowned Birmingham sound engineer. Ian learned his trade spinning vinyl on Technics 1210s and producing music on Properllerhead’s Reason and Cubase.
