En: The days are getting shorter, and the trees in the heart of Praha are turning golden and red. Cs: Na ulicích voní svařené víno a lidé pečou husy. En: The streets are filled with the scent of mulled wine, and people are roasting geese. Cs: Na Starém Městě je rušno, jelikož se blíží svátek svatého Martina. En: In the Staré Město, it is bustling, as the feast of Saint Martin approaches. Cs: Rodina s dětmi se vydává na výlet do Přírodovědného muzea, kde gigantické kostry dinosaurů vítají návštěvníky s otevřenou náručí. En: A family with children sets out on a trip to the Natural History Museum, where gigantic dinosaur skeletons greet visitors with open arms. Cs: Jiří, osmiletý kluk s jiskrou v očích, běží dopředu k monumentálním výstavním sálům. En: Jiří, an eight-year-old boy with a sparkle in his eyes, runs ahead to the monumental exhibition halls. En: Behind them walks Uncle Viktor, who loves seeing them enthusiastic and curious. Cs: Ve muzeu je kouzelná atmosféra. En: The museum has a magical atmosphere. Cs: Vysoký strop ozdobený starým, pečlivě propracovaným štukem, pod nímž se tyčí dramaticky osvětlené kostry. En: A high ceiling decorated with old, meticulously crafted stucco under which dramatically lit skeletons rise. Cs: A tam, uprostřed sálu, je jeho cíl – Tyrannosaurus rex, ohromný a impozantní. En: And there, in the middle of the hall, is his goal – the Tyrannosaurus rex, enormous and imposing. Cs: Eva už začíná vyprávět o časech, kdy dinosauři vládli Zemi. En: Eva already starts talking about the times when dinosaurs ruled the Earth. Cs: Jiří poslouchá, ale něco v něm ho pobízí, aby se také podělil o své znalosti. En: Jiří listens, but something inside him urges him to share his knowledge as well. Cs: Když se Eva otočí k jiné vitríně, Jiří si všimne malé cedulky u jednoho z vystavených kostí. En: When Eva turns to another display case, Jiří notices a small plaque next to one of the exhibited bones. Cs: „Věděli jste,“ promluví a jeho hlas je tišší než obvykle, ale pevný, „že Tyrannosaurus rex měl větší čichové laloky než většina jiných dinosaurů? En: “Did you know,” he speaks, and his voice is quieter than usual, but firm, “that the Tyrannosaurus rex had larger olfactory lobes than most other dinosaurs? Cs: To mu pomáhalo lépe čichat potravu a možná i najít zraněná zvířata.“ Eva nadzvedne obočí, docela překvapená. En: It helped him smell food better and maybe even find injured animals.” Eva raises her eyebrows, quite surprised. Cs: „To jsem nevěděla,“ přizná, a dokonce se trochu usměje. En: “I didn’t know that,” she admits, and even smiles a bit. Cs: Viktor k ní přikývne a přátelsky poplácá Jiřího po rameni. En: Viktor nods to her and gives Jiří a friendly pat on the shoulder. Cs: „To je úžasná informace, Jiří. En: “That’s an amazing piece of information, Jiří. Cs: Jsem rád, že jsi to našel. En: I’m glad you found that. Cs: Tvůj zájem a pozornost se vyplatily,“ řekne Viktor s uznáním. En: Your interest and attention paid off,” says Viktor with appreciation. Cs: Jiří se usměje. En: Jiří smiles. Cs: Teplo strýcova pochvaly ho naplňuje radostí. En: The warmth of his uncle's praise fills him with joy. Cs: Uvědomuje si, že nemusí soupeřit, aby zaujal – stačí, když si najde to své, co ho zajímá.
