It wasn’t until she went to Explo ‘72 that she received an understanding of the importance of the Holy Spirit. At this youth gathering, she heard the Lord’s voice for the first time and that was monumental for her. When she returned home she became closer to her boyfriend whom she later married that following year. Years later she became a mother of two.
