Expository style teaching on James CH 4:8a and 1st John CH 1:5-10 dealing with drawing near to God in the wake of living in continuous sin. This teaching will examine how we as Christians deal with our sins day-to-day vs if we fall into seasons of carnality. We will explore several mitigating factors that we can use to aid in preventing backsliding, as well as overly stress the importance of understanding the word of God to shape our thinking to establish an intimate relationship with Christ.
