The Commonwealth saved one of its most direct challenges to Lindsay Clancy’s account for its final rebuttal witness. Dr. Gregory Saathoff, a forensic psychiatrist who has worked with the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit for three decades, compared what Lindsay told him with her medical records, digital searches, Patrick Clancy’s account and the physical sequence of events on the day she killed her children. His testimony does not negate the serious mental illness described throughout this trial, and it does not decide the case by itself.
