We are going to take a very practical look inside the successful schedule of a family who has their priorities straight. We all can get busy and it's not a bad thing to have a full plate, in fact, it is often necessary. But it is important to be reminded in a very practical way what things we should attempt to be focusing in on for the sake of our family's spiritual health.

Oftentimes our own insecurities will drive a wedge between relationships that we desperately want to cultivate. We need to step back and realize just how much God loves us and all that He did/does in order to have a close walk with us. Let's look at who we are in Christ and how we can draw security from that relationship that we can carry into other important relationships in our lives. 

There are too many things in life for you to care about all of them. There are certain things that are too important to not care. I realized very quickly that people often know all the correct priorities, however, most people struggle in giving the correct ones precedent in their lives. We all need to guard against becoming indifferent against the things that really do matter most.

A chaotic home will little schedule and much disorder is not a place where the love and knowledge of Christ can abound. Clean up your home by getting on the same page as your spouse. You have a responsibility to present a loving and united front so your kids have a predictable standard to follow. 

As we continue our look at things that will destroy a home, we come to an unforgiving spirit. Since your relationship (and mine) involves two people who are humans- then we can correctly assume that things will not always go perfectly, offenses will happen, and forgiveness will be needed. We look at the reason why we need to forgive and how it can actually heal a hurting home. 

It’s time to stop and check your Priorities. So often these can get out of order just as our spine can slip out of alignment. It’s not wrong that it happens, it’s wrong if we allow it to continue in a prolonged state. Let’s get out ducks in a row.
