Lt: Rūta sėdėjo ligoninės laukimo kambaryje, širdis daužėsi tarsi laikrodis varpai.
En: Rūta was sitting in the hospital waiting room, her heart pounding like clock bells.
Lt: Ji spoksojo pro langą.
En: She gazed out the window.
Lt: Vasara Vilniuje buvo graži.
En: Summer in Vilnius was beautiful.
Lt: Saulė švietė, medžiai linguodavo švelniai.
En: The sun was shining, the trees swayed gently.
Lt: Tačiau jos viduje augo nerimas.
En: But inside, her anxiety was growing.
