Sv: Erik steg in genom dörrarna till polisstationen i Stockholm.
En: Erik stepped through the doors of the police station in Stockholm.
Sv: Klockan var strax efter lunch, och det var mycket folk i väntrummet.
En: It was just after lunch, and there were many people in the waiting room.
Sv: Lamporna i taket lyste starkt, och ljudet från telefoner och samtal ekade i korridorerna.
En: The lights on the ceiling shone brightly, and the sound of phones and conversations echoed in the corridors.
Sv: Erik hade något viktigt på hjärtat.
