Catherine (Katie) Ulissey, wife and research partner of geologist Dr. Robert Schoch, found her early years shaped by dance. Conservatory trained, she turned professional at the age of 16, performing with classical ballet and contemporary dance companies, and later transitioning to musical theater, performing on Broadway in a number of productions including the original cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s "The Phantom of the Opera". Her early childhood in Saudi Arabia sparked a lifelong fascination with ancient mysteries. Katie and Dr. Schoch met at a conference on the topic in 2007 and married on Easter Island in 2010. Together, they have co-authored works exploring ancient civilizations and their connections to cosmic events. Katie has contributed significantly to her husband’s research, including connecting Easter Island’s previously undeciphered rongorongo script to global “plasma petroglyphs” first identified by renowned physicist Dr. Anthony Peratt of Los Alamos National Laboratory. This discovery shifted her husband’s research toward our Sun as the probable cause of the end of the last ice age. Related to this, she noticed giant Lichtenberg patterns emanating from beneath the Great and Second Pyramids on the Giza Plateau (dendritic patterns would be consistent with plasma ejected during massive solar outbursts). More recently, she has offered an hypothesis regarding the potential “Ancient and Intentional Burial of Ancient Egypt” (in similar fashion to Göbekli Tepe). She holds a B.A. from Emerson College (2002) and stays connected to her dance roots by teaching ballet at Wellesley College. She is the author of a children’s book, “Adriana and the Ancient Mysteries: The Great Sphinx”, published in German, Italian, and English (revised edition). Dr. Robert M. Schoch, a full-time faculty member at the College of General Studies at Boston University since 1984, and a recipient of its Peyton Richter Award for interdisciplinary teaching, earned his Ph.D. in Geology and Geophysics at Yale University in 1983. He also holds an M.S. and M.Phil. in Geology and Geophysics from Yale, as well as degrees in Anthropology (B.A.) and Geology (B.S.) from George Washington University. In recognition of his research into ancient civilizations, Dr. Schoch was awarded (in 2014) the title of Honorary Professor of the Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy in Varna, Bulgaria. In 2017, the College of General Studies at Boston University named him Director of its Institute for the Study of the Origins of Civilization (ISOC).In the early 1990s, Dr. Schoch stunned the world with his revolutionary research that recast the date of the Great Sphinx of Egypt to a period thousands of years earlier than its standard attribution. In demonstrating that the leonine monument has been heavily eroded by water despite the fact that its location on the edge of the Sahara has endured hyper-arid climactic conditions for the past 5,000 years, Dr. Schoch revealed to the world that mankind’s history is greater and older than previously believed. The subsequently excavated 12,000-year-old megalithic site of Göbekli Tepe in Turkey confirmed these assertions.Dr. Schoch’s more recent research has focused on the cataclysmic events that ended Earth’s last ice age, circa 9700 BCE, simultaneously decimating the high civilizations of the time. John Kokko When I moved to the SF Bay area, a friend introduced me to Fu Yu-Tai, a renowned tui-na (traditional Chinese bodywork) practitioner in the Outer Richmond of the city. I became his first student, spending every Saturday from 8 am to 8 pm for a year studying under him and working with his patients. At the same time, I got a job working at Mayway, the largest Chinese herbal company in the country. Mama Lau became famous in Chinatown a couple of decades back, selling every traditional herb under the sun. She even started a restaurant cooking traditional herbal soups and dishes next door to their herb shop. What I learned there by the time they moved to Oakland was invaluable. I stayed there for 7 years, which got me through graduate school.Since acupuncture licensure, I've taught dozens of graduate courses at three acupuncture colleges for a decade and ran a program to help hundreds of graduates pass their state and national licensure board exams. I also sat on the board of the California State Oriental Medical Association for 5 years, working with others in guiding policy and continuing education for our profession. However, I am most proud of teaching for 3 years at Contra Costa College. At this community college, the academic dean, Susan Lee, now a family friend, helped me set up a program for preventative health using the principles of traditional Chinese medicine. We saw people who reversed major alcohol and smoking addiction, chronic pain, blood sugar and hypertension issues, and anxiety and depression by utilizing the eight branches of Chinese medicine in their everyday lives. This was nothing short of miraculous in many cases and still inspires me today. My passions include creating community through the art of tea. For this, I owe a debt of gratitude to my late tea teacher, Winnie Yu, one of the first to bring artisanal tea to the West. She taught me to be generous and authentic, and that tea, like so many things, can bring us all together and dissolve differences.I continue to refine my clinical practice through ongoing studies with orthopedic expert Alon Marcus and Lonny Jarrett, a pioneer in integral medicine. Supportive images are provided by NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory’s Mars Global Surveyor and the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter spacecrafts. The images reveal the remains of a set of possible linear walls with 90-degree angles (as best as can be determined) at their corners that exhibit a high level of symmetry. The hypothesis of artificial design is presented based on an examination of possible artificial and natural mechanisms that could contribute to the structure of the features observed. Terrestrial comparisons of geological structures and geometrical designs are investigated. Further study and additional imaging of the structural components of this enigmatic feature are encouraged. Introduction A Mars Global Surveyor image depicting a square-shaped structure (also referred to in the popular press as a “square-shaped formation”) was brought to the attention of the first two authors in 2001 by independent researcher Richard C. Hoagland via his Enterprise Mission website (https:// www.enterprisemission.org/). This square structure has generated a high level of interest and has been featured in numerous online news programs; however no serious scientific assessment has been offered until now. 2. The Square-shaped Structure (Mars Global Surveyor) In November 2001 NASA released an image acquired by the Mars Global Surveyor (MGS) camera E10/00462. The image was taken in the winter, during the early morning hours with a resolution of 6.3 meters per pixel (Mars Viewer, MGS, 2001). The original orientation of the image was inverted, with south toward the top; it shows exposed material within a crater that includes a feature that appears to be square-shaped structure (Figure 1). The square-shape is offset with opposite corners aligned in a north south direction. The northern corner of the formation consists of an L-shaped wall-like structure that is partially buried by debris. The western and southern corners are visible, while the eastern corner appears to be covered by fine-grained deposits in this image; the western corner also appears to be covered to some extent with fine-grained deposits (note that “fine-grained” is a relative term in this context, given the resolution of 6.3 meters per pixel). Marco Bulloni is a Nuclear Engineer who was born in Italy. A month later he was already abroad, accompanying his parents, and for 16 years he had the good luck to travel around the world. This brought him into contact with the different peoples of Africa, Asia and the Middle East and gave birth to his passion for history, archaeology, mythology, astronomic beliefs of ancient civilizations. Since he was a boy he has dedicated most of his spare time to his passion: the common origins of the Indo-European languages, the spread of civilization, the unsolved mysteries of our past. Today he lives in Milan, even if he considers himself a citizen of the world. This book is just the first of numerous others devoted to the existence of the real Atlantis.
