California, really has a unique circumstance when it comes to interior design legislation. Despite popular belief they do not have occupational regulation for Interior Design. I live in an absolute delusion every year that I will get a whole bunch done during the summer; when in reality I am at Ren Faire every weekend (9 weekends this season!! not including the one off smaller faires I try to attend), my niece visits, and it’s the best time of year to be outside here in Seattle, so scheduling podcast recordings and sitting down to edit are not on my priorities. It’s something I’ve been aware of my entire life, but as a design practice is not a specialty I’ve done beyond the basics (reusing existing materials from site, or choosing options that produce less carbon or can be recycled).
