This iconic San Francisco rock band emerged from the evolution of Jefferson Starship, shifting its musical direction and eventually rebranding under a new name. Their 80s heyday saw platinum and gold certified albums, including Knee Deep in the Hoopla and No Protection, with chart-topping hits like We Built This City and Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now. After a brief hiatus, the band reformed in 1992 with Mickey Thomas at the helm, resuming their live performances.
