Formed in 1980 in Bellevue, Washington, this influential progressive metal band has been a driving force in the genre for over four decades. With a diverse discography spanning 16 studio albums, one EP, and numerous live releases, they continue to tour and create new music to this day. The original lineup, featuring guitarists Michael Wilton and Chris DeGarmo, drummer Scott Rockenfield, and bassist Eddie Jackson, was solidified with the addition of lead vocalist Geoff Tate in 1982.
