Formed in the heart of California, this influential rock outfit has been a staple of the music scene for decades, with a consistent core duo at the helm. Led by enigmatic frontman John McCrea, the band's distinctive sound is shaped by a unique blend of genres, from country and rock to funk and hip hop. With a career marked by lineup changes and sonic experimentation, Cake has established a loyal following with their offbeat style and witty, sarcastic lyrics.
