Time-Hacker Philosophy vs Centuries-Old Growth Dogma

There’s a dichotomous old dogma I’m sure you reject: that you can develop your mind or develop your body. The mind/body split that the dweebest of philosophers and academics once espoused.But there’s another dichotomy that might be limiting you: the belief that fast equals rushed and “quantity has a quality all its own” when it comes to your time commitment to your health, fitness, and personal growth.“Rome wasn’t built in a day,” right?That’s a saying as old as, well, Rome, I’m sure.But might it now be... wrong?Might you actually have all the time you need to elevate your mind to the divine frequency it’s intended to receive and chisel your body so that every mirror refracts greatness? That’s a question that I’m going to get really pragmatic on today with PJ Glassey... PJ is an author, serial entrepreneur, and the creator of the revolutionary high-intensity protocol behind X Gym in Kirkland, Washington (which boasts an almost perfect 4.9-star rating on Google Maps). He’s going to tell us how to fit 7 hours of traditional fitness into two 21-minute sessions a week, along with the neuroscience of neuro-centric movement, brain typing, and how high-efficiency biohacking can rebuild your physique without taxing your schedule. Explained here... “Exercise snacks” - Doing 1 to 2 minutes of exertion every hour (e.g., using stairs or air squats) to transform metabolism. Variable resistance training - from the book Weight Lifting Is a Waste of Time by Dr. John Jaquish. But continuous time under pressure beats pricey home gym workout gear or products. Jonathan’s Timehacks In my first year of parenthood, with a new baby, I managed to run my business, write a book, work out 61 times, do date nights with my wife, and managed to stay in touch with family because I don’t use the “too busy” excuse. Philosophy: Let small bad things happen. Mundane things: do them fast enough that you make little mistakes. Workouts and fitness: 10-20 minutes; I would do them at home, squats holding the baby, and I would pair them with whatever knowledge I needed to acquire. For me, any workout time is professional development time. There’s always some topic I need to research: it could be a podcast guest’s book or how to keep my unvaccinated child safe from mumps. So I listen to audiobooks, podcasts, or whatever you can do now--if there’s a topic you need to learn about. Find like 4-5 sources on it: web pages, books, etc. Load these into a Google’s GEMINI AI Notebook, then prompt GEMINI to create a podcast about the topic, BUT in the prompt be very specific about your specific situation and goal. And it will do a scary good job of pinpointing what you need to know from those sources. Memory hacks: Mnemonics + SuperMemo app - remember more of the knowledge you absorb from books. Picking the right spouse: My wife knows Jonathan will not wait in a line to buy something. Buy an hourglass as a reminder of the preciousness of time.
