Formed in the early 2000s, this iconic American rock band rose to fame in the early 2000s with their unique blend of garage rock and post-punk revival sound, drawing inspiration from the city that birthed them. Hailing from New York City, the band's members met while attending high school in Manhattan and later formed a tight-knit group that would go on to shape the sound of modern rock music. With their debut album "Is This It" they achieved instant success and critical acclaim, paving the way for a legacy that continues to influence contemporary music.
