Hailing from London's vibrant post-punk underground, this iconic new wave band rose to fame in the early 1980s as the house band for the influential Blitz Kids, blending European dance music with punk and soul influences. As one of the most successful groups of the New Romantic era, they dominated the charts with 23 hit singles and 25 million albums sold worldwide, cementing their status as part of the Second British Invasion of the Billboard Top 40. With eight UK top 10 albums and a diverse musical heritage that spanned from punk rock to Frank Sinatra, this legendary band left an indelible mark on the music landscape.
