Behind the iconic voice and innovative sound of a legendary artist lies a journey that began as the original frontman of the influential rock band Genesis. Emerging as a solo artist in the mid-1970s, his debut single Solsbury Hill marked the beginning of a successful career that would span decades and multiple chart-topping albums. His 1986 album So remains one of his most enduring feats, with the hit single Sledgehammer earning a record nine MTV Awards and solidifying its place as the most played music video of all time on MTV.
