Hailing from Jamaica, this reggae sensation made a name for himself in the early 1980s, laying the groundwork for a career that would eventually reach global heights. His breakout single "Here Comes the Hotstepper" dominated airwaves in 1994, claiming the top spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 and securing spots on the charts in Denmark and New Zealand. The song's massive success also earned him a No. 4 spot on the UK Singles Chart.
