From the heart of California's Bakersfield, a country music legend emerged, fronting The Buckaroos to a staggering 21 No. 1 hits on the Billboard country chart. This iconic musician pioneered the distinctive Bakersfield sound, a genre that drew inspiration from the city's rich musical heritage and Owens' own vision for "American music". With a unique blend of country and rock influences, he left an indelible mark on the music world.
