Epstein Survivor Annie Farmer Calls on Ohio State to Remove Wexner’s Name (10/9/26)
Jeffrey Epstein survivor Annie Farmer has joined the campaign to remove Les Wexner’s name from buildings at Ohio State University, aligning herself with survivors of former OSU team doctor Richard Strauss, who sexually abused hundreds of students. Farmer argued that the continued presence of Wexner’s name on university facilities is especially troubling given his long relationship with Epstein and his role on Ohio State’s Board of Trustees during the years Strauss was abusing students. Farmer’s sister, Maria Farmer, has alleged that Epstein abused her at Wexner’s New Albany estate in 1996, and Annie said she has long found it difficult to believe Wexner was unaware of Epstein’s conduct, pointing to the depth of their personal and financial relationship. Wexner has denied knowing about any abuse of Maria Farmer and has not been criminally charged in connection with Epstein. The push has put renewed pressure on Ohio State, which is still reviewing hundreds of requests to remove the Wexner name from campus facilities, including the Wexner Medical Center and the Les Wexner Football Complex. Farmer also criticized the university’s years-long legal fight with Strauss survivors, noting the bitter irony that students who suffer sexual assault are directed to a medical center carrying Wexner’s name. Strauss survivors Michael DiSabato and Al Washington Sr. joined Farmer in calling for the name to come down, arguing that the university cannot credibly claim to support survivors while continuing to honor one of its most powerful former trustees amid the unresolved questions surrounding his relationship with Epstein. Ohio State has said it has a formal review process for renaming buildings and that any removal ultimately requires approval from its Board of Trustees. to contact me: [email protected] source: Epstein survivor Annie Farmer supports drive to remove Leslie Wexner’s name from OSU campus
