This influential British pop rock band burst onto the scene in 1984, spearheaded by the creative vision of bassist David Steele and guitarist Andy Cox, alongside charismatic frontman Roland Gift. With their self-titled 1985 debut album, they quickly gained international recognition, thanks to hits like "Johnny Come Home" and a soulful cover of "Suspicious Minds". Their 1989 album, The Raw & the Cooked, cemented their status as global superstars, topping charts in the UK, US, Australia, and Canada, and spawning two Billboard Hot 100 number ones with "She Drives Me Crazy" and "Good Thing".
