Her current research focuses on hip and groin pain, injury prevention, and women's participation in sport. She completed her PhD on risk factors for hip and groin pain in professional male footballers while working at Aspetar in Qatar, where she held roles as Senior Physiotherapist and Head of Continuing Medical Education/Professional Development.
