Ex-UN human rights chief wins 2026 Nobel Peace Prize
This year's Nobel Peace Prize has gone to Navi Pillay - a former UN human rights chief and International Criminal Court judge. The chairman of the Norwegian Nobel Committee said the South African had been instrumental in ensuring that war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide were prosecuted.
