Hof

Hof is a town on the banks of the Saale river in the northeastern corner of the Upper Franconia region of the German state of Bavaria. The town lies close to the Czech border and is in the forested Fichtel Mountains and Franconian Forest upland regions. The town has 47,296 inhabitants, the surrounding district an additional 95,000.
