We are choosing to laugh as an exercise for the well-being of the mind, body, and spirit. The body can't distinguish between spontaneous "real" laughter or simulated laughter. Even if we are simulating (or faking) the laughter, we are still getting all of the incredible benefits of laughter. How cool is that! Be gentle with yourself. Remember, choosing to laugh is a practice, and one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.
