My name is Katie R and I am a proud member of CA today, Im proud to share my journey of recovery, which began on August 26, 2023. Like many, I faced challenges that led me down a path of addiction from the young age of 13 but I didn’t ever think I was an addict. With many twists and turns along the way that lead to my Rock Bottom . I realized that I had the strength to change my life for the better. Before my recovery, I struggled with friend groups , relationships and life in general masking the whole time my many faces . It was a difficult time, filled with moments of hell ,doubt and despair. However, I was 12 stepped in July 2023 and with in a month recognised that I needed to take control of my life and seek help so I got a sponsor and committed.
