In 2005, LaVena Johnson, 19, was in the midst of an active tour in Iraq. Just two years prior, she had decided to follow in her father’s footsteps by enlisting in the U.S. army—a dream that became her own. Flash forward to July 2005, LaVena had only been deployed for six weeks in Iraq when things suddenly took a turn.  What came next were a series of conflicting stories and details about her time in the U.S. army.  So, will the truth be revealed?
