Highlights Our Earth has multiple CME’s (coronal mass ejections headed to Earth). We have 3 storms headed our way and about 7 different CMEs. Geomagnetic storming conditions expected today to G1 – which should be a popper since our field has been at zero for the past 15-18 hours plus. Auroras in Paris, Chicago, Boston, London and probably further down south as they seem to be making their appearance there more as well. We could get G3 storm conditions tomorrow (KP 7) December 9th. Possible even G4 conditions. Will keep you posted! 24 solar flares in the past 24 hours, X 1.1, 3 M class flares and 20 C class flares. X 1.1 flare from 4298 @449 utc this morning and did trigger a R3 radio blackout over the Indian ocean for a solid hour. Sunspot complexity seemed to rapidly shift.
