Plain Jane moves to a new town trying to get away from the ridicule of her current town bully kids only to meet up with the town mean girl in her new town. When Jane's adoptive father loses his job Jane goes above and beyond to help the family. The mean girl, Betty, is vain and jealous of Jane.
