Welcome to the first installment of The Week on Off The Ball, a weekly listen back at some of our favourite pieces from right across the week that was.

Eoin Sheahan and Arthur James O'Dea were on hand this time out and had plenty to dig into!

Athletics Ireland boss Paul McNamara also joined Off The Ball this week to run through how such a transformation in Irish sporting success has taken place.

An All-Ireland winner with Kerry, and AFL Grand Final champion with the Sydney Swans, Tadhg Kennelly joined Eoin from Australia this week. He shared his expert opinion on how - if at all - the GAA can ever hope to manage the departure of its star players to the Australian game.

And finally, ahead of the first of a four-game series between New Zealand and South Africa this weekend, author and political activist Trevor Richards joined Eoin to discuss the dark history of this fixture.
