Human beings walk around with a fishbowl over their head full of thoughts about themselves. Instead of naturally processing outside experiences as they come in, we trap the ones we can’t handle inside this bowl. These stored impressions distort our perception and generate endless preferences about what should or shouldn’t be happening. True spirituality is about letting each experience pass through fully processed—whether joyful or painful—without clinging.
