Vinnie shares the time in his life when he started gaining weight after leaving college football. (7:30) The point is how weight can creep up without even noticing. She shares what she does, but she still deals with the "f*** it's", which is basically eating your emotions. (18:00) The goal for the mindset is to remain rational. Negative Results Scott King, a long-time NSNGer, is the second caller. He shares his weight-loss history for those new to the show. He had had gastric bypass surgery, but regained the weight he had lost. (38:00) Scott got a bit unfocused in his goals and became desperate enough to try GLP-1s. (40:30) He began to have negative side effects, and he was only on it for about three months. GLP-1s can cause serious digestive issues and, in some people, cause them to lose their drive, motivation, and zest for life. (46:00) He went back to NSNG® and focused, and he is losing weight again.
